Suffrago UK Data Hub
RankingsVerificationMethods

Independent service run by Suffrago – not an official government website. Every figure comes from an official UK publisher under its open licence and is checked against that source each time the data is refreshed.

About the hub

Who runs the Suffrago UK Data Hub, how it stays independent and how it is paid for.

Who we are

The hub is built and run by Suffrago Limited, a UK company based in Manchester. Suffrago works on civic data and public opinion, connected by place. The hub is the civic data half: official statistics about the UK in one place, each with its source and licence, and every figure checked against its publisher each time the data is refreshed.

How the data gets here is on the methods page, and the result of every check is on the verification page.

Independent of government and of our clients

The hub is not a government website and is not run by or on behalf of any government body. The publishers whose figures it shows do not endorse it.

Suffrago chooses which datasets go on the hub. No client, party, campaign or government body pays for a dataset to be added or left out, or has any say in what the hub shows, and every figure comes unaltered from its official publisher.

Suffrago's own polls and research are kept apart: no Suffrago poll result appears on the hub, only official statistics.

How the hub is funded

Suffrago pays for the hub from its own funds. The hub carries no advertising and has no sponsor.

Suffrago's other work

  • Public polling – Ask a public question, share it anywhere and see what people think. Free to start.
  • Constituency dashboards – A dashboard for every UK constituency, putting public statistics beside local opinion from Suffrago's panel and polls.
  • Reports and Pulse Briefs – Research you can commission from Suffrago, from a two-week snapshot of one issue to a full constituency report.
