Terms of use
How you can reuse and cite the hub's figures, charts and text.
The figures
Every figure on the hub stays under its publisher's licence, which its dataset page names with the attribution it asks for: mostly the Open Government Licence v3.0, the Open Parliament Licence v3.0 for Parliament's data and CC BY 4.0 for the National Energy System Operator's. When you reuse figures, credit the publisher as its licence asks.
Members of Parliament
The details on each seat's MP card are UK Parliament's, under the Open Parliament Licence v3.0, which does not cover personal data. The portraits are © House of Commons, under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. Neither is the hub's to license, and the hub's own licence below does not cover them.
The hub's own charts and text
The charts, tables and text the hub makes from that data are © Suffrago Limited and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. You may copy, share and adapt them for any purpose, commercial ones included, as long as you credit the hub and the publisher.
A credit we suggest: Source: Suffrago UK Data Hub (www.suffrago.co.uk), from [publisher] data under [licence].
For a chart: Chart: Suffrago UK Data Hub. Data: [publisher].
The licence does not cover the Suffrago name, mark and wordmark, which may not be used to suggest that Suffrago endorses you or your work; the fonts, which are under the SIL Open Font Licence; or the UK outline, which is Natural Earth's and in the public domain.
Accuracy
Every figure is shown as its publisher released it at the retrieval time on its page, and is checked against that source each time the data is refreshed. Publishers revise their figures, and we cannot promise the hub is free of error. For anything official, use the publisher's own release, which every dataset page links. Nothing on the hub is advice.
Liability and law
The hub is free and provided as it is. Suffrago Limited is not liable for any loss that comes from using it, except where the law does not allow that to be excluded. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
