Notes

Families entitled to Child Benefit for at least one child on the last day of August who have chosen not to be paid it, mostly to avoid the High Income Child Benefit Charge, by where they live. Their children still count for National Insurance credits. HMRC rounds each count to the nearest 5, so constituencies do not add up to their region exactly.
Families HMRC cannot place, or who live abroad, count only in the UK's total.
