Notes
- Families claiming are all those registered for Child Benefit; families in payment exclude those who chose not to be paid it, most of them to avoid the High Income Child Benefit Charge, which began in January 2013 and since April 2024 applies from an income of £60,000. HMRC rounds each figure to the nearest 5.
