Notes
- England and Wales's figures are seasonally adjusted: compulsory liquidations, creditors' voluntary liquidations and administrations are adjusted, and the total adds company voluntary arrangements and receivership appointments unadjusted, as they are too few to adjust. Scotland's and Northern Ireland's figures are not seasonally adjusted.
- Counts of companies registered as entering compulsory liquidation, a creditors' voluntary liquidation, administration, a company voluntary arrangement or receivership; an administration that turns into a creditors' voluntary liquidation counts once. The Insolvency Service marks every figure provisional and revises earlier months each release.
- Northern Ireland's monthly series starts in January 2019; earlier months are gaps.
