Notes

  • Current prices, so the figures are not adjusted for inflation. GDP is counted where people work, not where they live.
  • The ONS gives twelve authorities' figures only for the ITL 2 area their councils make up, which the table shows under the ONS's own name and code with the authority beside it: Merseyside (TLD7) is the Liverpool City Region, Halton included, and London (TLI) is the Greater London Authority's area. Devon and Torbay, Hull and East Yorkshire and Greater Lincolnshire come from its city and enterprise regions file under their own codes.
  • Cheshire and Warrington and Cumbria, set up after the ONS's latest register and lookups, have no figures yet.
  • The ONS found an error in converting its smaller areas to the 2025 boundaries and has suppressed the West of England's figures, and those of the areas within it, while it corrects it; the hub adds the West of England once the corrected file is published.
