Notes
- Official statistics from the returns fire and rescue authorities make to MHCLG for each year to March. A home fire safety visit finds the fire risks in a home, advises how to reduce them, plans an escape and can fit smoke alarms.
- Face to face means the visitor crossed the threshold; virtual means a video or phone call. Partners, such as home improvement services, social services and voluntary groups, visit on the service's behalf, and MHCLG gives their visits face to face only. MHCLG's 'safe and well' visits are counted apart and are not included.
- MHCLG names each authority without a code here, so the hub matches it to the code MHCLG's incident tables print beside the same name, and the site names it as the ONS's register of areas does.
