Notes
- Pupils at the end of Key Stage 4 in state-funded schools, by the council area their school is in. The DfE gives these figures for England's unitary councils and its counties, which run schools, not for districts. The City of London has no state secondary school. The latest year is provisional.
- The DfE's 2024/25 figures give Barnsley and Sheffield under the codes they had before part of Barnsley moved into Sheffield on the 1st of April 2025 (E08000016 and E08000019), and its 2025/26 figures under their new codes; each is shown as the DfE gives it.
