Notes

  • The council tax each billing authority expected to collect for the financial year (MHCLG's net collectable debit), what it had collected for that year by 31 March, and the one as a percentage of the other, as councils return them to MHCLG on the Quarterly Rates Collection form.
  • MHCLG rounds the amounts to the nearest £ thousand and works out each rate before rounding, so a rate can differ a little from one worked out from the amounts shown. Tables and charts show rates to two decimal places, as MHCLG describes them; the downloads give MHCLG's figures in full.
  • Barnsley's and Sheffield's figures are under the codes they had before 1 April 2025, as MHCLG gives them.
