Net additional dwellings: new homes built, plus conversions and changes of use to homes, less homes demolished or lost, in each financial year, from councils' returns. This is MHCLG's main measure of housing supply; it is not the count of new homes completed.
MHCLG's table still gives Barnsley and Sheffield under the codes they had before part of Barnsley moved into Sheffield on the 1st of April 2025 (E08000016 and E08000019), and they are shown so. It gives no regions. Wales's councils are on their own page.
