Notes

Homes liable for council tax that have been empty and substantially unfurnished for more than six months, other than those with an empty homes discount or empty because of flooding, counted on the first Monday of October.
Barnsley's and Sheffield's figures are given under the codes each count gives them: since the 1st of April 2025 their new codes, E08000038 and E08000039, which their boundary change brought.
