Notes
- DWP's estimate, from its own and HMRC's records, of the pensioner households eligible for Pension Credit over the financial year: those that received it at any point, and those potentially eligible that did not. These are ad hoc statistics by household, not the official take-up estimates from the Family Resources Survey, and the two are not comparable.
- DWP rounds each council's households to 100 and each region's and nation's to 1,000, and names councils without codes: the hub places each by the ONS register's name for it.
- The rate is the households in receipt over all eligible households, which DWP gives as a fraction from its unrounded counts and the hub shows as a percentage.
